Msc Neurosciences. Linking Basic Science with Clinical Application

The rapid evolution of neurosciences and their ever-increasing influence on science, leads to the creation of a Master od Science (Msc) program that addresses this entity as a whole.

The subject of the MSc"Neurosciences. Linking Basic Science with clinical application" is the interdisciplinary postgraduate education, the promotion of knowledge, the comprehensive teaching and training both at the preclinical-laboratory level and at the applied clinical level in the neurosciences. The Msc program focuses on the theoretical, as well as practical training of young health scientists, for the acquisition of comprehensive knowledge in neurosciences.

The goal of the Msc program is to provide high-quality theoretical and applied knowledge in the field of translational neuroscience. Graduates of the program will obtain comprehensive training and knowledge on fields of basic and clinical neuroscience.

The program covers topics of Neuroanatomy, Neurophysiology, Neurobiology, Neuropharmacology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Psychiatry and Neurobiotechnology.

An important part of the program involves the linkage of basic neurosciences with clinical neurosciences. Particular emphasis is placed on neuroprotection, neuroregeneration, as well as biotechnological developments that are expected to play an increasingly important role in neurosciences.
